Norsk

In short: PrettyTv is a media player only. We don’t provide any IPTV playlists, channels or other content. You add your own playlist and are responsible for having the right to watch it. Subscriptions unlock app features, not content, and are managed in your app store.

1. Who we are

PrettyTv is developed and published by Prod AS (“we”, “us”), Norway. Contact: [email protected].

By installing or using the PrettyTv app (“the app”) on any device you accept these terms. If you don’t accept them, don’t use the app.

2. PrettyTv is only a player

  • PrettyTv is a media player. It does not provide, sell, host, index, link to or recommend any TV channels, films, series, playlists, subscriptions or other content.
  • The app contains no content when installed. Everything you watch comes from playlists, logins and guide sources that you add yourself, from a provider of your choice.
  • We do not provide any IPTV playlists, M3U links, Xtream Codes logins, EPG sources or subscriptions, and we never will. We don’t link to, advertise or recommend any source of content.
  • We have no relationship with any IPTV provider and do not endorse, support or receive anything from any provider. Channel names, logos and programme information shown in the app come from your provider or guide source, not from us.
  • The demo channels in the app are made up and only show how the app works.
  • We cannot see, check or control what you play, and we have no way to remove content from any provider.

3. Your responsibility and acceptable use

  • You are solely responsible for the content you access with the app, and for having the rights and permissions to do so — for example a lawful subscription from the rights holder or a licensed provider.
  • You must not use the app to access, stream, record, redistribute or share content in violation of copyright or other laws in your country, or in breach of your provider’s terms.
  • You must not use the app in a way that harms the app, the stores, other users or third parties, or try to get around the subscription check.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login details safe.

4. PrettyTv Premium (subscription)

  • Some versions of the app — currently the Android app from Google Play and the TV app from Samsung — are fully open during a free trial of 7 days from first start. After that, playback needs PrettyTv Premium, a monthly or yearly subscription. The demo channels are always free. Other versions are free unless their store listing says otherwise.
  • The subscription is bought, renewed and cancelled in the app store (Google Play Billing or Samsung Checkout, and in the future possibly Apple’s App Store), and the store’s terms apply to payment, renewal, the right of withdrawal and refunds. The price, period and any trial are shown in the app before you buy.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends (or within the time the store allows). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you’ve paid for. See how to cancel.
  • Premium covers the app’s features, not content. We do not sell channels or access to content, and a subscription gives no right to content from any provider. A subscription is not refunded because a provider’s service stops working.

We do not host, store, index or control any content, so we cannot remove it. Complaints about content should go to the provider that serves it. If you believe the app itself (its code, design, name or store listing) infringes your rights, contact us at [email protected] with a description of the work, where it appears and your contact details, and we will respond promptly.

6. The app, trademarks and licence

The app, its design, the PrettyTv name, icon and mascot belong to Prod AS. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, under these terms and the terms of the store you got it from. You may not copy, resell, decompile or modify the app except where the law allows it.

Samsung, LG, Google Play, Android TV, Apple, App Store, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV are trademarks of their owners. PrettyTv is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by them or by any TV channel or provider.

7. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it works with every provider, stream format or device, or that it is free of errors or interruptions.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from content accessed through the app or from the services of third parties (such as IPTV providers). Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law, such as the Norwegian Consumer Purchases Act.

9. App store terms

These terms apply together with the terms of the store you got the app from. If they conflict, the store’s terms win on payment, refunds and licensing.

Google Play

Purchases are made under the Google Play Terms of Service and Google Play’s refund policies.

Samsung (Samsung Apps / Samsung Checkout)

The TV app and its purchases are also subject to Samsung’s terms for apps and Samsung Checkout.

LG (LG Content Store)

The LG TV app is also subject to the LG Content Store terms.

Apple (App Store)

If you got the app from Apple’s App Store, your licence is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), and these terms add to it. You and we also agree that:

  1. These terms are between you and Prod AS only, not Apple. Prod AS, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
  2. Your licence is limited to using the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the App Store Terms of Service.
  3. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the app.
  4. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
  5. Prod AS, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app, including product liability claims, claims that the app fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
  6. If a third party claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, Prod AS, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  7. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  8. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using the app, such as your IPTV provider’s terms of service.
  9. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and on your acceptance Apple will have the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Questions, complaints or claims about the app go to Prod AS at [email protected].

10. Privacy

How the app handles information is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: nothing is collected or sent to us.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms, for example when the app or the stores change. The current version is always published at this address with a new date, and material changes are mentioned in the app’s release notes. These terms are governed by Norwegian law, without limiting any mandatory consumer protection in the country where you live.
